- Indigenous Educator AmeriCorps Members: As an Indigenous Educator Corps Member, you will serve students through academic support, mentoring and community based projects. Benefits of service include a living stipend, a Segal Education Award ($6,345 full time/ $3,172.50 part time) to pay for educational expenses, and access to mentoring and professional development that provides a pathway toward becoming a licensed educator. We are currently accepting applications for the 2023-2024 school year. IEC members commit to one year of full (40 hours per week) or part time (20 hours per week) service at one of our network schools in New Mexico.
We are currently assembling a team of highly energetic and invested staff who are committed to creating a school that will have long-lasting success in the Red Lake-Navajo area. Any questions can be directed to or kdbegay@deapschool.org.
DEAP is an equal opportunity employer. It is the policy of DEAP to seek and employ the best and most qualified personnel. We strongly encourage members of the Diné Nation to apply.
